Our last few posts have been harbouring a certain darkness and creepiness (that we of course love), but seeing as Spring has already sprung we thought we’d pay some respect to a most glorious of seasons.
Just as Stravinsky saw a vision of youth, sacrifice, and above-all beauty in his musical megawork The Rite of Spring, we at The Eye of Faith are seeing the beauty of nature and the primitive simplicities of – well, BEING.
The days thus far have been absolutely gorgeous, and no doubt we have the Gods of Spring to thank for that! Let’s just hope we can hold onto his benevolence!
Oh, the joys of youth! Pretty stuff today, but don’t think we have let go of our demons. After all, as Aristophanes said:
“Evil events from evil cause spring”
Persephone awaits!

Nice Post, Eye… love the photo of the two girls frolicking up top! Still Freezing-Ass-Cold in the Pacific Northwest though… damn pomegranate seeds!

Our pleasure! We’ve definitely been lucky over here. Friday Harbour must be beautiful when it’s not freezing-ass-cold. Was dreaming about the Pacific Northwest recently, and all the wonders there must be! How long have you lived there?
Sincerely,
