“Hollywood Babylon” marked our very first true foray into original design using vintage fabrics. We were super inspired by our boy Kenneth Anger’s salacious book “Hollywood Babylon” for this collection- and wanted to encapsulate all the glamour, spice, scandal, and intrigue of a Hollywood starlet- or perhaps even, femme fatale.

Ms. Veda of Mildred Pierce also played a hand in helping us imagine the lost world that is “Hollywood Babylon”! It was quite the endeavour for us both, since it was our first ever fashion show that was entirely handmade pieces. There were 11 looks on 11 models, and somehow, by the grace of the universe, it all came together flawlessly.
