Satanic Possession in Archie Comics – Sabrina the Teenage Exorcist!

We are always in a nostalgic mood when it comes to our evening reading. Infact, we love delving into a quant story from Riverdale!  Homeland of our favourite group of teenagers, the Archie’s and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, along with Josie and the Pussycat and so many other fictitious characters.  Now …what would it take to bring us a story of true captivity.. and wonder?? Perhaps it would add some excitement with the addition of The Devil.
Well perhaps is no true reason as to why, but why on earth would a children’s publishing company come up with a plot line involving satanic possession?? Naturally, the Exorcist made QUITE the splash upon it’s release at the time.  We reckon the Comic publishing company only meant to make thing’s a little more exciting.  And we say.. it worked!  With plot-lines normally consisting of ‘what to wear to the beach’ or ‘who wants to meet for a sundae’, we here at The Eye of Faith are very entertained by a tale of an Evil Cameo Pendant which carries a Evil Curse.  Big Up’ to one of our FAVOURITE retro sources online RetroSpace for posting this amazing story.

We have to admit our genuine amusement as we read this comic.  We hope you guys get a kick too!! Even if this was all done to get some of the Exorcist’s hype, we say kudo’s… kudo’s to teaching kids the importance of the Bible and expelling any evil within.

Music Minute – “The Black Dog Runs at Night” from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992)

From the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, which is directed by David Lynch and written by Lynch and Robert Engels , we bring you a small piece of the soundtrack, The Black Dog Runs at Night.

The iconic television series from the 90s, Twin Peaks, was cut short during it’s second season due to fleeting ratings.  Though not short of fanfare, this sequel/prequel film was released in 1992 to cap off  storyline established during the shows run.

Attempting to wrap up the story of the small lumbering town in the woods would prove to miss the mark by certain standards.  With several actors unwilling to reprise pivotal roles, and a mixed up story line consisting of flashbacks, and leaps ahead in time, mainstream audiences had trouble wrapping their heads around the movie at the time of it’s release.

But die hard fan’s of the franchise will tell you this film is not to be missed!  Not only was the show great during its run, but this retelling of key events in the series gave the Twin Peaks fan’s a taste of what they so craved; closure!

With Halloween in the air, we are cultivating a mood not only for ourselves, but for you our readership! Special thanks to domtakis for his comment on a previous story and bringing our attention to this one-off track from the movies soundtrack.

With effective lyrics by David Lynch himself, and music by Angelo Badalamenti,  we appreciate the cool and eerie tone of such a short piece. Like all of Lynch’s work, this really packs a punch! Devilishly effective, and all together quite creepy, we love this!

Demonic Flight Attendant caught on Video.

Incase you haven’t seen it yet, we have the clip! On a plane leaving Dallas heading toward Chicago, just after it took off, a Flight attendant got hold of the plans public address system and began to ‘rant’. With talks of crashing, 911, and any airplane issue you could think of, it took some time before passengers on the plane were FREAKED enough to restrain the woman. But not before she would let out what can only be described as a Demonic Voice.

What happened to this woman? Was she angry with the pilot… did someone say something to her to piss her off?  Was she really possessed?? So many questions remain, but one thing is clear… this is not normal!  The plane was turned around and the flight attendant was taken to a hospital.  Perhaps for a exorcism.

“Get off the plaaaaaaaaaaane!”
