{PHOTOBLAST} HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!Trick or Treat?!

MThis is another REPOST of a popular topic here: HALLOWEEN!!!!

We sure have a reputation for keeping it spooky (since 2011!) so THANK YOU to everyone who helped get us to where we are today with this humble treasure trove of vintage musings...TRICK or TREAT?

It’s Halloween, and we thought that called for a special {PHOTOBLAST} in honor of the occasion!

We’ve devised a ghoulish buffet of vintage Halloween treats for your eyes and minds to delight in and devour!!!

We say this a lot, but some things just never change, and if anything, our brothers and sisters of the past were forced to be a bit more creative when it came to the challenges of costuming yourself for the big night!

So, that said, what are you being for Halloween (or what were you, for those enjoying the early bird weekend special)? Let us know in the comment section below! And make sure you have a Happy Scary Halloween!

S0, TRICK OR TREAT?!

Hope you enjoyed!

Sincerely,

{theEye}

Lorraine Warren and Her Creepy Haunted Rag Doll

Happy Birthday to one most dedicated and vigilant- the psychic supreme, Lorraine Warren!

The founder of the New England Center for Paranormal Research with her husband Ed, and original psychic investigator of the Amityville Horror House back in the 70s.

Here’s a picture of her with the infamous haunted rag doll, named Annabelle. Annabelle has been seen floating, talking, and has even escaped from the glass display case they keep her in at their Paranormal Museum. The doll was acquired in 1970, after a series of paranormal activity surrounding the doll terrorized a young girl and her family.

“How I Became The Bride of Frankenstein”

Here’s some old time tom foolery to pass the tides. As much a fan we are of vintage clothes and styles, we’ve always felt particularly charmed by magic of toys. This spooky spin on the classic paper doll has all the romance and style we seem to forget when remembering this iconoclast of supernatural style – Frankenstein’s Bride.

and everything else too has uncovered this rare 1964 cardboard cut out classic which cleverly combines style with the classic horror tale. The collection of outifts feature something for every occasion. From the market, to the sea, to the wedding gown itself- there’s definitely something for every ghoulish gal out there.

Got any favourites? Bound to be some gruesomely gorgeous style inspirations to gorge over. A monster for all seasons, indeed.
