STYLING ‘ORCHARDS’

We had the pleasure of working with emerging folk artists ‘Orchards’ in creating some stellar looks for their latest album! We brought them back in time to a world of vaudeville, circus, and sideshow freaks – and we were loving it! We are glad they did, too! Check out what we came up with!

sacred order 9

THE SACRED ORDER OF THE GOLDEN DAWN

It’s all about invoking the “rebel” spirit . . .

Since the dawn of time man has been obsessed with finding the

sacred secret powers from within.

Throughout the generations we have seen this fascination;

a power struggle with one self and others to possess this most mysterious course.

Man is faced with a path and he must tread it.

Through nothing more than his strength one should expect to suffer,

But perhaps with the help of friends in high or low places he might get just as

one has wished for his entire life . . .

DAZE OF BEING WILD 16

DAZE OF BEING WILD

Rebel spirits walking the city streets at night . . . This is what “Daze of Being Wild” is all about. Inspired by Wong Kar Wai’s classic 1991 film set in 1960s Hong Kong whose title, “Days of Being Wild” was the working title for the epitome of all rebel dreams, “Rebel Without a Cause”. We took our melancholic neon dreams on a wild night around the Junction, and captured some timeless lost memories in the process. . .

LOVELY LYDIA

We had the pleasure of shooting our good friend, Lydia. She’s a true beauty, if there’s ever been one. We dressed her up in some goodies in the +SHOP+ to be a classic cool cat 1950s gangster chick . . . the look is flawless.

LUCIFER RISING

Inspired by the great cult classic, ‘Lucifer Rising’ – we took this Bob Mackie satin bomber and took it to the streets at night for a mysterious romp with our dark side.

Trouble-in-Paradise-Page-12

TROUBLE IN PARADISE

As the quote says in this photograph; a quote from a man we refer to quite often as the King of Kings, the dreamer of dreams, he is the one and only James Dean! As the rebel icon once said: “If a man can bridge the gap between life and death, if he can live after he’s dead, then maybe he was a great man . . .”

Some wise words said there, but at what length should we take in this pursuit? Can one truly live forever? And once one has passed on, is it possible to bring them back to life?

All these questions and more. Sometimes it takes more than being the best dressed guy in the room to make an impression. Sometimes your sensibilities need to get supernatural to get the job done!
