It’s hard to believe that the Starman is 66 years old today (That’s one 6 away from being the Antichrist – powerful stuff . . .)! Not too many seniors look as god damn good as this odd fellow – it’s hard to believe he’s a day over 30, still.
If looks could kill, there would be a lot of people dead from Bowie’s one-of-a-kind style sensibilities he rocked throughout the 60s and 70s; embracing androgyny and flashing it up to the max. And yet, his way has become a sort of classic in our day and age, and you can still look back and aspire to his flamboyant elegance . . .
Bowie has released a brand new single today, as well, entitled “Where Are We Now?” (good question), but in true Eye of Faith style I think we need to take it back a little and celebrate Bowie in all his Glamour Glory!
Please enjoy . . .
“I don’t know where I am going from here, but I can promise it won’t be boring.”
-David Bowie.
